Legislatures made of lawyers passed laws that guide people to behave like that. It would have been handled by the priest, rabbi or minister in previous generations. Likely much more effectively, as those don’t have any incentive to make the problem worse.

Thanksgiving dinner was at our place, our US family on my wife’s side were all here.  One of our nephews works in a large Progressive city. He told me he recently took a young woman home for the night. As she lay beside him in the dark before they fell asleep, she whispered “I voted for Donald Trump”.

This article can’t explain that, it thinks that racism and sexism and all the other bad things they associated with ‘populism’ produced Trump’s victory. In fact, Clinton is a crook. In fact, Clinton is on the demonic side, judging from the unfolding #Pizzagate story. In fact, serious people voted against Hillary for serious reasons, including minorities and women. Few people I know were fervent Trump fans, rather the judgement was ‘better than Clinton’. Trump made himself marginally acceptable and pointed out her serious flaws. This article doesn’t acknowledge that. Worse, it continues the refusal to take any of us seriously, or to consider both major party’s many flaws, especially the candidates through this last election. Our government began failing to have net positive effects on the lives of average people some years ago and is doing nothing to correct that. That is what Trump represents, a massive failure of government :

Another, accepting that Trump and his supporters are xenophobic, racist, sexist. BS, we aren’t any of those, and Trump isn’t either. Clinton was and is an awful human being, a criminal, a war-criminal and a war monger, and now we find she is closely associated with Luciferians, if not fully and actively one herself :

This is a very excellent article about how much smarter Trump is than MSM, and how MSM put themselves in a weak position because they have systematically traded ratings for their credibility. Yes, there is the risk of Caesarism, but Trump ran because the Status Quo, the left and right Progressives, have so violated all of the ‘established procedural norms’ that Democracy rests upon. Yes, we need to restore confidence in public institutions, and no way Clinton could have done that. Greer is such an intelligent and thoughtful person that I hesitate to disagree, but : it isn’t that simple. First, the problem of non-free trade is that it moves too many economic decisions into the political sphere. Second, we obviously do not have free trade, we have managed trade of a particular kind, favoring particular economic interests, merely labeled as ‘free trade’ as a cover. If you doubt this, try importing favored products into China, or even the US. Third, the problem isn’t even the free trade, it is the financialization of the world which allowed so many economic events to come so close together that nobody has had time to adjust intelligently.

It is not possible to separate the effects of the many factors that influence the economy, and simple attempts like this do nothing but guide political opinion :

This discusses a new renormalization technique for complex systems. Complex systems are not computationally feasible, the nonlinear feedback prevents easy prediction and produces emergent properties. I must not be part of the ‘alt-right’, because I don’t attend to any of these sources discussed. If it includes even acceptance of any racism, etc., certainly not, but how did that become the definition? I consider Limbaugh to be MSM, just the hard end of the FOX spectrum. Fox only supported Trump reluctantly, because otherwise their ratings were shit. Breitbart is not something I even see often. This is far from the spectrum of alternative views of politics and interpretations of events around the world, and not at all the most interesting class, imho. When MSM is balanced again, I will take this kind of critique more seriously  :

This is the most rational discussion of the Trump, etc. phenomena and people I have seen. In his view, the Left’s calling people racist when they are not, merely accepting of racist support, is driving more people into that category :
